Tropea's Biscotti - Known for Taste, Texture & Appearance!
It all began in Tropea, Italy where the Tropea family's original biscotti recipes were passed down through the generations. Like many Italian families, the Tropea's enjoyed Sunday gatherings. As part of this tradition, the adults remained at the "big" table after the meal to enjoy an espresso or a glass of port and some delicious biscotti, while the children were excused from the "little" table and sent to play.
The original recipes had to be translated and improved over the years until the Tropea's were satisfied. Jim's choice of fine European chocolate adds the final wrapping to this incredible gift.
Speaking of blending the right ingredients - Jim and Susan Tropea bring their unique talents to the Tropea family business. Jim's expertise as a Chocolatier, coupled with his business management skills, are an integral part of sharing Tropea's biscotti around the world. His passion for learning from master Chocolatiers allowed Jim to separate Tropea's biscotti apart from the rest.
Susan's skills as an artist, coffee housebaker, and a pastry baker are God-given talents. She has a true passion that she uses to the fullest.
